How to delete your account

You can permanently delete your personal tablettt account in the browser or in the app. You do not need to install the app, select a venue or set up a till.

Use the button below, sign in to the account you want to delete, type your account email and request a confirmation code. Enter the emailed code and select “Permanently delete my account”. Opening this page or signing in does not delete anything. In the app, you can reach the same flow through Settings → Account → Delete account.

What is deleted

Deletion immediately removes your account name, email address, profile image, password and linked sign-in credentials, two-factor authentication secrets, sessions, memberships, personal notifications and notification preferences from the active service. Sign-in and recovery access are revoked. Deletion is permanent.

What is retained

Deleting your personal account does not delete a venue or unregister its devices. Venue transaction and fiscal history, staff and payroll records, and security or administrative audit evidence are retained for their applicable legal or contractual purposes. Attribution links to the account are removed where possible; identifiers already recorded in immutable history remain. The venue is responsible for its guest and employment records. Existing operational backups expire within 30 days and are not used for ordinary operations.

Business owners and unfinished work

If you are the last owner of a business, assign another active owner in Access & security before deleting your account. Finish or cancel any legacy import you started. The last platform administrator must appoint a successor. These checks protect continued access to business records; they do not delete those records.

Need help or closing a business?

If you cannot sign in, use the password-reset option on the deletion screen. If you no longer have access to your email, cannot assign a successor, or are closing a business, contact us below from your account email where possible. We verify identity and explain any data that must be retained. Never send your password or confirmation codes. We normally respond within one month, with any lawful extension explained within that period.
